On 9 November 2015 Australia notified of the implementation of emergency measures for the import of nursery stock, tissue cultures, cuttings, budwood, rooted plants, corms and bulbs against Xylella fastidiosa and related Xylella species.
Further to notifications G/SPS/N/AUS/376, G/SPS/N/AUS/376/Add.1, G/SPS/N/AUS/376/Add.2 and G/SPS/N/AUS/376/Add.3, and based on additional information on the host range of Xylella bacteria, Australia notifies that emergency measures for Xylella will be extended to nursery stock belonging to the plant family Hypericaceae, effective 15 November 2021.
