| Summary |
MPI has issued an amended import health standard 155.02.06: Importation of Nursery Stock, effective 28 November 2024. The amendments include:
1. Remove the measures for Hoya undetermined tobamoviruses (pre-determined testing in post-entry quarantine).
2. Remove Hoya undetermined tobamoviruses as a quarantine pest in the Hoya schedule of the Nursery Stock standard.
3. Add phytosanitary measures for the management of Orthotospovirus alstroemerinecrosis (Alstroemeria necrotic streak virus (ANSV)) and Orthotospovirus tomatoflav (Tomato chlorotic spot virus (TCSV)) on Hoya plant hosts, including options for off-shore and on-shore management.
