| Summary |
: Ministerial Decree No. 503 /2023 gives the producers and importers a six-month transitional period to abide by the Egyptian Standard ES 1251-1 "Wheat flour with its different extraction and methods of analysis and testing part: 1 wheat flour with its different extractions" (partial amendment in 2 pages, in Arabic).
It is worth mentioning that the partial amendments in ES 1251-1 "Wheat flour with its different extraction and methods of analysis and testing - part 1" is concerned with the following:
• Add new item No. 2/3/8 "Wheat flour extract 85%: It is wheat flour that is 50% free of red tooth and fine and coarse germs";
• Modify item No. 3/12 Ash percentages according to extraction calculated on dry weight;
• Modify item No. 4/7 remainder after sieving.
