The Regulation on Food Supplements, which was notified through G/SPS/N/TUR/127 (28 July 2022), has never been enacted. This time draft Regulation on Food Supplements has been amended and these amendments cover product specifications, Annex-1 (Annex 1-Part A: Active Ingredients Allowed for Use and Conditions of Use) and Annex-2 (Annex 2-Information and Documents requested in Application for Approval of Food Supplements).
Food supplements that were approved before the publication date of this Regulation and comply with the provisions of the Regulation on Import, Production, Processing and Placing on the Market of Food Supplements and the Turkish Food Codex Communiqué on Food Supplements can be on the market until 31 December 2025.
