Summary |
Due to developments in food science and technology, Indonesian Food and Drug Authority of The Republic of Indonesia has revised the requirements of heavy metal contaminants in processed food.
This regulation sets out the maximum levels of specified heavy metals, i.e. arsenic, cadmium, mercury, lead and tin, in processed food.
Once this new regulation is issued, the previous regulation (Regulation of Indonesian Food and Drug Authority of The Republic of Indonesia Number 5 Year 2018 on Maximum Level of Heavy Metals Contaminants in Processed Food) is declared to be invalid.
