Summary |
The proposed amendments seek to:
1. Simplify and clarify the dossier for the accreditation of functional ingredients:
- Required to submit only the major manufacturing procedure (extraction, filtration, concentration, etc.);
- Required to submit Intake assessment data and Toxicological data;
2. Improve the evaluation system for accreditation of functional ingredients:
- Submitted dossier will be withdrawn if it is found false or fraudulent and if necessary, a Clinical trial report and final document will be demanded.
