| Summary |
1. The notified text amends Resolution No. 7.386 of 2014 establishing phytosanitary requirements governing the importation into Chile of seeds, of any origin, for fruit and vegetable crops and aromatic and medicinal plant species, as follows:
1.1. In Article 1, the following additional declaration is added for seeds of Citrullus lanatus, Cucumis melo, Cucumis sativus, Cucurbita maxima, Cucurbita moschata, Cucurbita pepo and Lagenaria siceraria: "The consignment is from a nursery that was inspected and analysed (indicate diagnostic technique) during the active growth period and found to be
free from Cucumber green mottle mosaic virus (CGMMV)" or "The consignment is free from Cucumber green mottle mosaic virus (CGMMV) as per the results of official laboratory
analysis (indicate diagnostic technique used)".
1.2. In Article 1, the additional declaration for the species Daucus carota is replaced with the following: "The consignment is from a nursery that was inspected and analysed
(indicate diagnostic technique) during the active growth period and found to be free from Candidatus Liberibacter solanacearum and Xanthomonas hortorum pv. carotae (= X.
campestris pv. carotae)" or "The consignment is free from Candidatus Liberibacter solanacearum and Xanthomonas hortorum pv. carotae (= X. campestris pv. carotae) as per the results of official laboratory analysis (indicate diagnostic technique used)".
