Title	Proposed Food Labelling Act
Summary	The proposed Act seeks to: - Improve predictability and feasibility for industries and consumers to access relevant provisions by consolidating all provisions relating to labelling and advertising prescribed in three acts, which are Food Sanitation Act, Livestock Products sanitary Control Act, Functional Health Foods Act, and their related notifications; - Satisfy consumers demand to know, and facilitate fair trade by clarifying provisions to prevent false or exaggerated labelling or advertising; and - Repeal the current provisions on Deliberation on Labels and Advertisements regarding infant foods, specially designed foods for weight control and health foods.
