The draft Order proposes to establish a procedure for monitoring and reportong on antimicrobial resistance of zoonotic pathogens and commensal bacteria, as well as reporting, identifying their sources of origin, and eliminating discrepancies in distribution.
Monitoring and reporting will cover the following bacteria:
Salmonella spp.;
Campylobacter coli (C. Coli);
Campylobacter jejuni (C. jejuni);
commensal Escherichia coli (E. coli);
Salmonella spp. and E. coli producing enzymes such as extended-spectrum β lactamases (ESBL), AmpC β-lactamases (AmpC) and carbapenemases (CP);
Staphylococcus aureus, methicillin-resistant (MRSA)
They may cover commensal Enterococcus faecalis (E. Faecalis) and Enterococcus faecium (E. Faecium).
This procedure procedure will also apply to the selection of samples from cargoes imported into Ukraine.
