Draft Regulations for "Import Inspection of Feed and Additives". |

This set of Regulations is formulated according to Article 22-2.3 of the Feed Control Act. Main points of the draft include:
1. The definition of terms used in the Regulations.
2. Import inspection protocols (including procedure, check items, methods, and
quantity), return and destruction of goods, documents to be presented, and other instructions.
3. Circumstances under which the applicant may file an application for approval along with an affidavit stating his/her consent to move the product to a place of temporary custody pending sampling by the inspection authority.
4. Circumstances under which the inspection will render a non-compliant result.
5. For a product in the container that appears to be rotten or decomposed during on-site verification, products in all containers of the same batch will be deemed non-compliant. The applicant may apply for a batched inspection for a second round of on-site verification and sampling analysis to render a new ruling.
