Title	Draft Food Health Regulations
Summary	The  notified  text  establishes  the  sanitary  conditions  and regulations  for  the  following  processes:  production,  handling,  importation,  exportation, preparation,  packaging,  storage,  distribution,  transportation  and  sale  of  food  for  human consumption;  authorization  of  commercial  establishments  in  order  to  protect  the nutrition  and  health  of  the  population;  and  the  monitoring  of  compliance  with  the Regulations,  to  ensure  a  healthy  and  safe  food  supply.  It  repeals  all  parts  of  the  current Decree  No.  528-01  of  15  May  2001,  and  any  other  regulations  or  standards  that  are contrary to it.
