Summary |
The Maximum Level Requirement of Microbiological and Chemical Contaminant in Processed Food are regulated in the Regulation of the Chairman of NADFC No. HK.00.06.1.52.4011 Year 2009. Due to some regulation development from another countries regarding the maximum microbiological contaminant requirements; and certain requirements from the regulation are not applicable for the last six years, NADFC amends the requirement of microbiological contaminant in Annex part A of the regulation and will revoke and replace with this Draft Regulation of The Chairman of NADFC RI on Microbiological Criteria in Processed Food.
This draft regulates and specifies the microbiological criteria:
1. The type of food category;
2. the type of microorganism and the microbiological limits (m,M); and
3. how to control it by guiding the sampling plan to the laboratory test defining the number of sample units to be taken (n), the size of the analytical unit and where appropriate, and the acceptance number (c). As this new regulation is issued, therefore the regulation of the Chairman of NADFC No. HK.00.06.1.52.4011 Year 2009, regarding the requirement of Microbiological Contaminants and microbiological criteria in food declared to be invalid.
