The Separate Customs Territory of Taiwan, Penghu, Kinmen and Matsu would like to notify that the "Use Restrictions and Labelling Requirements of γ-Aminobutyric Acid Produced by Microbial Fermentation as a Food Ingredient" as per G/SPS/N/TPKM/632 on 27 August 2024, was promulgated on 13 February 2025. Except for Article 4 of the regulation, which will come into effect on 1 January 2026, the other articles shall be implemented from the date of promulgation.
