Tóm tắt	The notified Information Circular No. 005/ERIS-CA/2025 announces the prohibition on the use of the ingredient Trimethylbenzoyl Diphenylphosphine Oxide (TPO) in cosmetic products in Cabo Verde, effective as of 1 September 2025. The decision is based on the recent reclassification of TPO as a substance toxic for reproduction (category 1B CMR substance), leading to its inclusion in Annex II of European Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009. This ingredient, commonly used in gel nail polish, will be prohibited for professional and commercial use. The ERIS advises providers, professionals and consumers to ensure that TPO is withdrawn from the market and to report any irregularities
