1. Bulletin on Payment of Registration Fees within the Specified Period for Importer -Exporter Registration and Related Registrations under the Tradenet 2.0 System 1. The following registrations are currently permitted within the Myanmar Tradenet 2.0 system:
(a) Importer-exporter registration,
(b) Economic operator registration,
(c) Certificate for opening sales centers to import and sell motor vehicles,
(d) Certificate for opening showrooms to import and sell new motor vehicles,
(e) Certificate for opening sales centers to import and sell commercial motor vehicles,
(f) Certificate for opening showrooms to import and sell construction and industrial machinery,
(g) Certificate for opening showrooms to import and sell electric motor vehicles (EV), (
h) Certificate for opening showrooms to import and sell electric motorcycles,
(i) Duty-free shop registration,
(j) Liquor import and sales permission registration,
(k) Retail and wholesale business registration,
(l) Online sales system registration.
2. For new applications of importer-exporter registration and related registrations, applicants must pay the registration fees within 21 days from the date of approval by the department. If the payment is delayed beyond the specified period, penalty fees will be imposed as follows in addition to the registration fees:
(a) Payment made between day 22 to day 30 after approval: Penalty fee of K 100,000,
(b) Payment made between day 31 to day 60 after approval: Penalty fee of K 200,000,
(c) Payment made between day 61 to day 90 after approval: Penalty fee K 300,000.
3. If the importers and exporters fail to pay the specified registration fees and penalties within 3 months from the approval date of their applications through the Tradenet 2.0 system, the system will automatically cancel (auto-cancel) the registration.
4. Failure to comply with clauses 2 and 3 will result in the applicant being prohibited from reapplying for a new importer-exporter registration for 1 year. Additionally, any related registrations will face temporary suspension of the importer-exporter registration.
5. Business owners are hereby notified and urged to pay the registration fees for import-export business owner registration and related registrations within 21 days after approval.
These procedures outlined in this bulletin will be effective starting from 1 August 2025.
