The Food and Drug Administration (FDA or we) is correcting a final rule that appeared in the Federal Register on 3 December 2021. The document amended our regulations to establish a program for the testing of food in certain circumstances by accredited laboratories, as required under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. The final rule published with some editorial and inadvertent errors. This document corrects those errors.
