The draft provides for the establishment in the Common sanitary-epidemiological and hygienic requirements for products subject to sanitaryepidemiological supervision (control) of the standards for veterinary medicinal preparations in foodstuffs of animal origin.
The standards have been developed on the basis of the residue limits of veterinary medicinal preparations established in the international standard of the Codex Alimentarius Commission - CX/MRL 2-2018 and the regional standard of the European Commission - Regulation No 37/2010 of 22 December 2009 on pharmacologically active substances and their classification regarding maximum residue limits in foodstuffs of animal origin.
