Ukraine notifies amendments to the previously notified text of the draft Order of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine "On Amendments to the Order of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine No. 1450 of 31 July 2023", taking into account comments received from the relevant central executive authorities.

The amendments are as follows:

•   Extension of the transitional period: fruit juices and certain similar food products that complied

  with the requirements in effect prior to the entry into force of this Order, but do not meet the provisions of the updated requirements, may continue to be produced and/or placed on the market for a period of six years (instead of three years in the previous version) from the date of entry into force of this Order, and may remain on the market until the end of their consumption date or the expiry of their minimum shelf life;

•   Removal of the sampling and laboratory testing provision: the requirements for fruit juices and certain similar food products have been amended to delete the provision on sampling and laboratory testing (hereinafter referred to as the Requirements);

•   Editorial revisions: several editorial amendments have been introduced to the draft Order, the Requirements, and Annex 3 to the requirements.

  These amendments are also notified under the TBT Agreement.
